Alce Nero Bolognese sauce is made with organic meat from Italy and with elongated tomatoes, including Coimbra, Ercole, and other varieties, which are grown on approximately 30 farms in the Po Delta in the provinces of Ferrara and Ravenna. The tomatoes, which are harvested in July, August, and September at just the right level of ripeness, are processed within eight hours on average in order to preserve all the flavour, aroma, and nutrients. This Bolognese sauce is made according to a traditional recipe, using carefully selected, high-quality ingredients. It is ready-made: discover its flavour by pairing it with pasta.
